Villa San Simone can be anything you want. Lidia and Sandro prefer to consider it “home for friends”.
An oasis of peace and relax for your family, just a few kilometres from Florence and Pistoia, Italian Capital of Culture 2017. Built on the walls of a Romanesque church from the year 1000, Villa San Simone is the place where Lidia and Sandro, the two architects who have restored it with love, welcome their guests as friends to share the peace of nature and enjoy the beauty of landscape and ancient architecture. Villa San Simone is located in the hills just a few minutes from Pistoia, a beautiful Tuscan town not yet disturbed by mass tourism. Villa San Simone is the ideal place to visit some of Tuscany’s most beautiful cities such as Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Siena, just a few kilometers away. Immersed in a large park of over 60,000 square meters, surrounded by olive groves, the Villa offers an infinity pool with panoramic views and a large shady garden (about 1500 square meters) of secular trees where guests can relax and enjoy the beautiful landscape. The interiors’ decor, wisely played between antique and modern, includes, together with period furniture, over fifty masterpieces of contemporary design, which can be admired and especially “used”. This elegant residence is at the center of a large wildlife reserve, populated by wildlife, including squirrels and deer. Absolute silence and tranquility.
